How the public rate works today: $360 minimum spend per session, covering 2 hours in the room, plus $180 for the third hour. That spend has to go on food and drink and cannot be applied to anything else.
- The auto-charged plan saves you $640 a month against the public rate, and $280 against paying month to month at the counter.
- Either membership takes the minimum spend off your back. No more watching the bill reach a number on every visit.
- In all three options the drinks are included, around $220 per session at menu price.
Start with one session, if you prefer.
Book a single session for $550 and try it with a real client. If within the next 7 days you take either membership, that $550 is credited in full to your first month.
The conditions.
- Length
- Up to 3 hours per session. The fourth costs $150 and is the cap, same as for everyone.
- Capacity
- Four people recommended, up to five. The fifth has no included drink, but gets 10% off.
- Booking
- With a membership your day and time are held when you sign up, with priority. Single sessions, 24 hours ahead and subject to availability.
- Cancellation
- Free up to 4 hours before. Later than that, the session counts as used.
- Unused sessions
- One can roll into the next month. The rest do not accumulate or get refunded.
- Validity
- One calendar month, or 30 days from sign-up. We are closed on Tuesdays.
- Payment
- Single session and monthly: at the counter or by transfer. Auto-charged: automatic card charge each month.
- Renewal
- The monthly plan does not renew itself. The auto-charged one does, and you cancel 7 days before the next charge.

- What does the Alere Café meeting room include?
- A private room for four people (up to five) in Colonia Americana, Guadalajara, with real acoustic privacy, a 55" screen with HDMI, high-speed WiFi, air conditioning and lighting designed for the room. Each session runs up to 3 hours and includes a specialty coffee drink for you and each of your three guests.
- How much does the meeting room membership cost?
- Three ways. A single session of up to 3 hours costs $550 MXN. The monthly membership is $1,800 MXN for 4 sessions, $450 each. The auto-charged one is $1,520 MXN a month with the launch discount, or $380 per session.
- Do I need a coworking membership to use the meeting room?
- No. Encuentro is independent from coworking: you can take just the room, without any other membership. And if you are already a coworking member, your plan comes with room hours included or the member rate.
- What is the difference between renting the room by the hour and taking the membership?
- Without a membership the room comes with a $360 minimum spend per session, covering 2 hours, plus $180 for the third: around $540 per session, and that spend has to go on food and drink. With a membership there is no minimum, drinks are already included, and your time slot is held every week.
- How many people fit in the room?
- It is designed for four and fits up to five. The fifth has no included drink, but gets 10% off whatever they order.
- What if the meeting runs long?
- You can add a fourth hour for $150 MXN, which is the per-session cap for everyone, members and guests alike.
- Can I cancel a session?
