Encuentro: The Meeting Room Is Now Available by the Month
If you meet clients every week, the room is no longer something you request each time: it is held for you. Three ways to take it, drinks included for four, and no minimum spend.
The corner table wasn't enough anymore
We've been watching the same scene for months. Someone arrives half an hour early, picks the table farthest from the bar and turns the chairs so their client faces away from the room. They speak more quietly than usual. Halfway through, someone sits at the next table and the conversation changes register without anyone saying so. The coffee was fine. The table wasn't. Coaches, therapists, consultants, lawyers, advisors: people whose work is a one-hour conversation that needs a door. They were borrowing it from the space, and the space wasn't built for that.
What Encuentro is
Encuentro is a membership for the meeting room, not for coworking. It's 4 sessions a month of up to 3 hours each, with your slot held: the same day and the same time, week after week, without asking again whether it's free. The room sits at the back of the café, away from the movement of the bar, which makes it the quietest part of the house. It has real acoustic privacy, a 55" screen with HDMI, high-speed WiFi, air conditioning and lighting designed for that space. Four people fit comfortably, up to five.
The drinks are already included
Every session includes a specialty coffee drink for you and for each of your three guests. Four drinks that would run around $220 at menu price, already inside what you pay. It isn't a courtesy detail: it's what lets you offer your client something without the session turning into a bill someone has to settle at the end. If five of you come, the fifth doesn't get an included drink but gets 10% off whatever they order.
Three ways to take it
The first is a single session at $550, to try the room before committing to anything. The second is the monthly membership at $1,800: 4 sessions that come out to $450 each. The third is the auto-charged one, which bills itself every month and therefore costs less: $1,520, or $380 per session. That last price is a launch rate, good for the first 10 auto-charged memberships; after that it goes back to $1,800.
Why it isn't the same as renting the room by the hour
You can still take the room without a membership, and for a one-off meeting that's still the better option. The math changes when it's every week. Without a membership there's a $360 minimum spend covering 2 hours, plus $180 for the third: around $540 per session, and that spend has to go on food and drink. With a membership there's no minimum, the drinks are already inside, and — the part that actually matters — the slot is held. You stop asking for the room. It's yours that day.
You don't need a coworking membership
Encuentro is independent: you can take just the room, without signing up for any other membership. And if you're already a coworking member, you don't need to switch to anything: your plan already includes room hours or the member rate. They're different needs. Coworking is for working; Encuentro is for receiving. Some people have both, some have only one.
How to start
The first step is choosing your slot, because that's the whole point: the day and time you want held every week. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll go through it with you; if you'd rather try first, start with a single session and decide afterwards. Cancellations are free up to 4 hours before the session, and the auto-charged membership is cancelled by giving notice 7 days before the next charge.
